Maintenance Mechanic
Savvy Staffing is now hiring for the following position:
Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd and 3rd shift
Experience Requirements:
Basic electrical repairs
Basic pneumatic repairs
Basic preventive maintenance
Basic building Maintenance
Basic Machining (drilling, taping, grinding, cutting, etc.)
Basic Math skills
Ability to lift up to 90 pounds.
Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
Summary of Duties:
Work alone and unsupervised
Troubleshoot machinery and associated equipment.
Perform basis electrical repairs
Perform preventive maintenance without interrupting production
Perform basis building maintenance
Help develop safer and more efficient production lines.
Individual most be aware that machines repairs and adjustments take precedence over preventive maintenance.
Fallow lockout/ tagout procedures
A maintenance mechanic will also be required to perform light janitorial work in his/her work area such as sweeping and wiping down machinery. Due to the flexibility of our client operations, additional task may be required.
Our client has two building -across from each other - individual most be able to transport him.herself, tools and parts between building in a timely manner.
Candidate most have own tools, however our client will give the individual up to 90 days after start date to obtain all basic and necessary tools.
Compensation depends on
Experience: up to $25 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
